Sean Hannity’s show last night was a no-hold-barred assault on the Obama Administration….the usual kind of thing the media cabal would do on a nightly basis when W was President. It was fun to watch. Hannity – for one - is not going to let the Sestak job bribe scandal go away. What did the President know and when did he know it? Then we had clips of Democrat partisan James Carville ripping Obama for not doing enough about the Gulf oil spill disaster. What has he been doing? Hannity catalogued Obama’s numerous golf rounds and basketball shoot-arounds over the past month. Image is everything and Obama is flunking this one.

The emergence of the escalating federal debt and government spending as a defining political issue is complicating Democratic efforts this week to push through a major package of tax breaks and unemployment aid over the reluctance of Democrats wary of being painted as budget busters. (NYT, 5/26/10)

A survey in February by the BBC found that only 26 percent of Britons believed that “climate change is happening and is now established as largely manmade,” down from 41 percent in November 2009. A poll conducted for the German magazine Der Spiegel found that 42 percent of Germans feared global warming, down from 62 percent four years earlier.
And London’s Science Museum recently announced that a permanent exhibit scheduled to open later this year would be called the Climate Science Gallery — not the Climate Change Gallery as had previously been planned. (NYT, 5/24/10)
