RedStateVT took a quick spin around the dial last night. Here is what we found:
Bill O’Reilly questioned a senior State Department official about Assistant Secretary of State Mark Posner who – surprise – has been uncovered as a looney leftist a la Van Jones. The left accuses O’Reilly of being a demagogue, but a fair viewing of his show reveals that the only time he gets hot is when you don’t answer the question.
There was a guest host on Rachel Maddow and we have no idea who he was. Key takeaway? He was all worked up that Obama allows Taliban terrorists to be held indefinitely at a prison base in Afghanistan. No doubt he would prefer that they be given ACLU lawyers and a comfy bed. Alienation on the left is something RedStateVT has talked about before and it is a major threat to Obama’s chances of serving another term.
Finally, we caught an exchange on Anderson Cooper between Anthony Bourdain, celebrity chef and (unknown to us) astute political commentator and Ted Nugent, rock and roll patriot. It was priceless. Bourdain launched into a profane ad hominem attack on the Tea Party. The Nuge then gave a thirty second response that was about as concise and articulate as any that we have heard. Bourdain was speechless.
