Countdown

Plans of Mice
Democrats said the conservative groups were upending some of their best-laid plans in several important races, like here in Florida, especially those in which they had been counting on the financial advantages their candidates had over lesser-financed Republicans at the beginning of the general election. (NYT, 10/25/10)

Apparently it is OK for Dems to have a financial advantage, but not Repubs.

Mr. Bi-Partisan
It took President Obama 18 months to invite the Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, to the White House for a one-on-one chat. (NYT, 10/25/10)

It was good to be reminded of this!

Dems to Voters: What We Think of You
“Democrats aren’t running on the administration’s accomplishments like health-care and financial-regulatory overhaul and the stimulus because “it’s just too hard to explain,” Biden said. (Andrea Tantaros, Foxnews.com, 10/25/10)

Clinton said that he understands why voters are so concerned about the economy, but that voters often forget that things have improved in recent months. (POLITCO.com, 10/25/10)

So voters are dumb, forgetful, angry, confused, hoodwinked. Note to Dems: Keep up the insults and the voters will tell you what they think.
