News Blackout of Planned Parenthood Selling Fetal Organs Continues
Jail Time
As president of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards tries to keep perspective while the group faces one of its biggest political crises. After all, she said on Monday, the founder, Margaret Sanger, was arrested 99 years ago for pamphleteering about birth control. (New York Times, 8/4/2015)
Funny that PP's Richards should mention Margaret Sanger. Sanger was well known as a eugenicist.
And wonder what Richards and her fellow Liberals would say about the following:
Sanger also supported restrictive immigration policies (Wikipedia).
Taken
Take Ali Akar Velayati, a top adviser to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who appeared on Al-Jazeera on July 31 and was asked about U.N. inspections of Iran’s military sites. Here’s how he replied, according to the Memri translation service:
“Regardless of how the P5+1 countries interpret the nuclear agreement, their entry into our military sites is absolutely forbidden. The entry of any foreigner, including IAEA inspectors or any other inspector, to the sensitive military sites of the Islamic Republic is forbidden, no matter what.” (Wall Street Journal, 8/4/2015)
This is the deal that our boy genius president negotiated.
Processed
Local Democrats are bemoaning an announcement from a national Republican group that it will be spending $40 million to try to win new legislative majorities in 10 states, including deep-blue Vermont.
The executive director of the Vermont Democratic Party, Conor Casey, said the GOP money is being provided by brothers David and Charles Koch, major funders of conservative campaigns.
“Quite simply, this influx of out-of-state dollars is harmful to our democratic process,” Casey said in an email. “These groups, who are funded by the Koch brothers, look to impose an extremist agenda that they have been unable to advance in Congress.” (Burlington Free Press, 8/5/2015)
Does Conor Casey have any idea how much comes into Vermont from out-of-state to support Liberals and Liberal issues? He either does not, in which case he is an idiot, or he does, in which case he is a hypocrite.
Either Or
It's Either Iran Nuclear Deal or 'Some Sort of War,' Obama Warns (New York Times, 8/6/2015)
So says the former community organizer, now renowned geopolitical strategist.

Do You Prefer Bernie Claus or Santa Sanders?
Relationships
Hillary Rodham Clinton’s relations with the political news media had been tense long before she declared her candidacy in April, and her campaign’s efforts to try and improve those relations have backfired at times. (New York Times, 7/11/2015)
Such efforts to try and improve those relations which include - literally - roping off the press. Funny that the New York Times does not mention that.
From the same article, Big Dog Bill tells us who is really too blame for bad relations between politicians and the press:
"...Mr. Clinton ultimately put the blame squarely on the political press."
And the fawning lapdog Liberal Media responds: "Hit us again, sir, harder!"
Honesty
This summer insurers must submit rates to state regulators for approval on the ObamaCare exchanges in 2016—and even liberals are shocked at the double-digit requests, or at least the honest liberals are. Under ObamaCare, year-over-year premium increases above 10% must also be justified to the Health and Human Services Department, and its data base lists about 650 such cases so far. (Wall Street Journal, 7/11/2015)
It's working! Obamacare is working!
Nuked
While U.S. and Iranian negotiators gave themselves more time Friday to reach a nuclear deal that could improve the countries’ ties, crowds of Iranians here chanted “Death to America,” just as they have for 36 years. (latimes.com, 7/11/2015)
Coming soon, a nuclear deal with Obama's BFFs: the Iranian mullahs!
Do Black Lives Still Matter?
Now the surge in violent crime — as of Wednesday there had been 155 homicides in Baltimore this year, up from 105 in the same period last year — has made the mayor’s balancing act even trickier: Can she rein in a Police Department with a long history of aggressive, sometimes abusive behavior and at the same time bring crime under control? ... Homicides are higher than a year ago in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, St. Louis and other cities. In Los Angeles, Mayor Eric Garcetti recently announced a 12 percent increase in overall crime, though killings were down slightly. (New York Times, 7/12/2015)
Of course black lives matter. But Liberals are pathologically focused on the occasional death of a black man in police custody - yes, tragic - under ambiguous circumstances. Meanwhile hundreds more are being killed.
Mr. Sanders Goes to the Vineyard
Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont has risen in the polls thanks in part to his denunciations of the forces of concentrated wealth, drawing thousands of liberals to hear his jeremiads against corporate power in early nominating states and liberal hubs such as Madison, Wis.
But Mr. Sanders quietly stepped off the campaign trail this weekend to visit Martha’s Vineyard, a favorite summer destination of the country’s elite, in order to mix with representatives of some of the same interests he inveighs against in his stump speech. (New York Times, 7/12/2015)

RedStateVT: Liberal Fascism on the Rise
Unimposing
President Obama had set March 31 as a deadline for reaching a political accord to define the main terms of a final, comprehensive agreement due by the end of June. The Obama administration has extended that self-imposed deadline. (New York Times, 4/2/2015)
When is a deadline not a deadline? When it is an Obama deadline.
Here is all you need to know about a nuclear deal with Iran:
--Obama will give away more than he will get.
--The Iranians will cheat on whatever deal is reached.
Foreigner
“Right now, he has no foreign policy legacy,” said Cliff Kupchan, an Iran specialist who has been tracking the talks as chairman of the Eurasia Group, a consulting firm. “He’s got a list of foreign policy failures. A deal with Iran and the ensuing transformation of politics in the Middle East would provide one of the more robust foreign policy legacies of any recent presidencies. It’s kind of all in for Obama. He has nothing else. So for him, it’s all or nothing.”
...
An agreement with Iran remains the most promising goal left in a foreign policy agenda that has unraveled since Mr. Obama took office. Rather than building a new partnership with Russia, he faces a new cold war. Rather than ending the war in Iraq, he has sent American forces back to fight the Islamic State, though primarily from the air. Rather than defeating Al Qaeda, he finds himself chasing its offshoots. Rather than forging peace in the Middle East, he said recently that is beyond his reach. (New York Times, 4/3/2015)
Somewhat amazingly the Times reports the foreign policy failures that comprise the real Obama legacy. Which explain why he is so desperate for any deal with Iran, even one that disadvantages the U.S. and Israel.
Cornered
Senator Harry Reid, the Senate Democratic leader who announced his retirement last week, settled into a corner booth at the Triple George Grill here, his faced masked by dark sunglasses, evidence of lingering injuries from a workout accident that left him blind in one eye. For the next hour, in a conversation that veered from Washington to Nevada and back again, Mr. Reid made clear that he would deploy all of his resources to make sure Democrats hold on to his seat — critical to any hopes his party has of winning back the Senate in 2016. (New York Times, 4/2/2015)
The New York Times writes a love letter to Harry Reid. No mention - none - of his lies about Mitt Romney. No mention of his nuclear waste deal with Obama. No mention of how he became a millionaire while in office. No mention of his scurrilous attacks on the Koch brothers.
