In a statement, Goddard College Interim President Bob Kenny said the college holds 20 commencement ceremonies annually to provide personalized graduation ceremonies in each degree program.

"As a reflection of Goddard’s individualized and transformational educational model, our commencements are intimate affairs where each student serves as her or his own valedictorian, and each class chooses its own speaker," Kenny said in a statement. "Choosing Mumia as their commencement speaker, to me, shows how this newest group of Goddard graduates expresses their freedom to engage and think radically and critically in a world that often sets up barriers to do just that." Regarding the ACA, Obama said the debate is “settled” and “over.” Progressives also say the debate about catastrophic consequences of man-made climate change is “over,” so everyone should pipe down. And they say the debates about the efficacy of universal preschool, and the cost-benefit balance of a minimum-wage increase, are over. Tiny little Goddard College in Vermont (where everyone is a valedictorian!) embarrasses itself and the state of Vermont. A Goddard spokesman on Fox News last night (that took guts!) said that the decision to choose Abu-Jamal as the commencement speaker was made by the students. OK, fine. How come the adults at Goddard did not stand up and say no? 

We will answer.

Because for Liberals everything is relative. There are no absolutes. Sure our pal Mumia killed a cop in cold blood, but look at how articulate he has been about the plight of prisoners! Liberals are like teen-agers. They have not grown up and realized that there is a difference between right and wrong.


Clearly
Let’s be clear. The war on women is based on just one thing — abortion rights. While it is true that access to abortion has been restricted in several states owing to Republican efforts, it is not true that women as a whole care only or mostly about abortion.  ... extremists on the pro-choice left celebrate the “right” to terminate a 20-week-old fetus. Google an image of this stage of fetal development and try to comprehend the glee we witnessed when state senator Wendy Davis, now running for governor, became the belle du jour upon her filibuster to protect that “right” in Texas. Amen. Exactly the points that RedStateVT has made on multiple occasions. One: it is all about abortion. Forget the crap about workplace discrimination or equal pay. Bill Clinton proved that you could coerce a twenty-two year old female subordinate into giving you fellatio and get away with it...as long as you are pro-choice. Two: we have argued that "20 weeks" should be changed to "5 months." In other words, Liberals are perfectly OK with aborting a child that is more than half way developed.

President Obama doesn’t take responsibility for anything going wrong. It’s all about him when Osama is killed. When the war with ISIS is too little, too late, that’s not his fault. He had… wait for it… lousy intelligence!
