Like most readers of the New York Times, RedStateVT usually avoids Maureen Dowd's columns because - over the years - they have become increasingly devoid of reality. Her obsession with Bush I and II were so far over the edge that there was simply nothing to be gained from reading her. Here she takes off in a similar fashion after Mitt Romney. Mind you there is nothing insightful or honest about her attack. She criticizes his hair, his speech, his religion, while never once offering anything of substance. The quote above is as close as she gets to deep analysis.
