Vice President Joe Biden had a strong message for fellow Democrats on Friday: After Election Day, expect to keep a majority in Congress. "I'm here to tell you that on November 3, the day after this coming election, there will be in Washington, D.C., a Democratic majority in the House and a Democratic majority in the Senate," Biden said at the Democratic National Committee's summer meeting in St. Louis, Missouri. He joked, "and were it not illegal, I'd make book on it!" (CNN.com, 8/20/10)
