RedStateVT Explains

President Barack Obama’s deputies are walking back his ground-breaking acknowledgment that Egypt is no longer an “ally,” only one day after he declared that Mitt Romney tends to “shoot first and aim later.” (dailycaller.com, 9/13/2012)

The incredible speed and synchronization with which the Liberal media pounced on Mitt Romney (who is not yet the President) for his remarks on the Middle East can only mean one thing. Like the Obama administration, they realize that the latest uprising among the perpetually outraged Muslims (hat tip to Michelle Malkin for the moniker) could be the end of Obama's chances. Obama has a weak hand when it comes to the economy. At best he can say that things will be worse under Romney, but most undecideds are likely to give Romney a try before giving Obama another four years to get it right. Hence, the media/Obama re-election team have tried to paint Romney (a businessman with international experience) as some kind of a foreign policy rube. It's a stretch, but they have tried.

And then along come the Muslims killing our diplomats, burning the American flag and whining about some video they have never seen. All on Obama's watch.

The American people will remember Obama's endless pleas that we are not at war with Islam, his "reset" buttons, and his snubs of Israel. They will remember Jimmy Carter, the last weak-kneed Democrat president who presided over a disastrous U.S. foreign policy.

This explains the all-out coordinated attacks on Romney and the virtual silence when it comes to holding Obama accountable.
